I recently decided to change the focus of this online journal from Jewish and Israel-related issues to a somewhat different topic - an on-going bloggish sort of thing about arts, literature and culture in Boston and beyond. I made this decision for two reasons: 1. I needed a regular place to write about these things, and 2. I recently started a new online Jewish publication called The New Vilna Review, that covers a wide range of topics relating to Israel and the Jewish world. The New Vilna Review publishes work by a wide variety of scholars, authors, poets and journalists and I’m very excited to watch that project grow.
Visitors to “My View” can now expect to find book and film reviews, as well as my thoughts on cultural and artistic happenings in the Boston area, and perhaps occasionally a few insights into the progress of the New Vilna Review.
